He provides advice and planning guidance for a wide range of clients and has particular expertise in the VAT issues relating to cross-border trading.

Nick Aitken - Managing Director
Nick started his professional career with Customs & Excise, where he met John Crawford. He stayed for some years and was instrumental (with others!) in establishing the VAT office in Southampton before moving on to a career in private enterprise. After some years gaining experience with international companies, he established his own marketing company in 1984 which, with a profitable multi million sterling turnover, he sold in 2000.
Since then, Nick has continued his work as a consultant, concentrating mainly on sales and marketing, and has assisted several companies on specific projects both in the U.K. and mainland E.U.

Jo is the marketing manager for Global VAT Recovery.
